About Event

The main purpose of this Faculty Development Programme is to impart deeper understanding of what a smart city is? its components, the role of IoT and novel security/privacy challenges in IoT applications for urban development. To enlighten the knowledge on various methods to analyse and visualize data collected from IoT devices for savvy urban communities to gain meaningful insights for urban planning from experts across the country to young budding future scientists/technocrats of our country who are working in various disciplines. To get expertise in designing real-world IoT applications with a focus on end-user needs and ease of use best practices. It is not only aimed at analyzing how IoT applications can contribute to environmental sustainability, asset effectiveness and resource efficiency in smart cities, but also make young researchers to innovate smart city development ideas through cross-disciplinary research and collaboration. It is designed to be highly interactive, providing ample opportunities to network and socialize with peers; setting the stage for young researchers gets fully engaged with hands on training.
